Peter Henderson founded Pisys in 1988 after starting his career working on Survey Ships in the early 1980's. Health and Safety were not as much of a priority then as they are today and he founded Pisys to develop a suite of products to help businesses work more safely and effectively. Pisys now provide a suite of software including Permit to work, Action tracking, MEM/IR Training simulators, Audit management and ESG reporting alongside a range of data acquisition and calibration tools.
Peter holds an MBA and an MSC in marketing. He is a Chartered Professional Fellow of the British Computer Society.
With nearly 40 years in HSE software, Peter writes about permit to work systems, safety management and operational risk, drawing on direct experience of how these challenges have evolved across industries from offshore to manufacturing.
